The child content is the items. The helper repeats them once, hidden from assistive technology, so the loop runs without a seam. The edges fade into whatever ground the strip sits on. Give it enough items to fill the widest window at least once.

ribbon runs the strip across the full width of the window on the brand colour, tilted slightly, like a ribbon laid over the page. Because it is as wide as the screen it always sits in a width="Full", spacing="None" band with its own padding, which clips the overhang; that is how it is held inside the render box here. The items are display-weight phrases separated by a sparkle.
