A few words in a heading or pull quote drawn over by hand, so a wall of text has somewhere for the eye to land.
Looks
look picks how the words are marked. Marker is a soft brand highlighter that
wraps with the text, so it suits a phrase in body copy. Scribble, Circle and
Strike draw themselves in when the words scroll into view. Sticker sets the
words on a tilted plum sticker that straightens when hovered. Use one or two per block; every mark
on a page stops meaning anything.

A mark takes its ink from the band it sits in. On a plum band the lines draw in white and the sticker turns white with plum words, so it still reads as the loudest thing in the sentence.

A Headline takes the same looks through highlight-look,
applied to its highlight phrase. Vary the look from one section to the next.
